ReStore is a discount home improvement and building supply store operates by Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning County. All proceeds from the ReStore are used to support Habitat’s mission to eliminate poverty housing and to empower families. The ReStore concept originated in Austin, Texas in 1992 and now there are hundreds of ReStore at Habitat for Humanity affiliates across the country. ReStore Reuses, recycles and resells functional building materials, tools, furniture and appliances that are in good condition, thereby diverting thousands of tons of usable materials from local landfills.
